Default Returning Player, GW:EN Worth Buying?

I just started playing GW again and although I've been enjoying it I feel like there's absolutely no PvE content for me to do. I want to buy Eye of the North (The one campaign I do not already own), but I don't want to be the only person playing it. If I don't have people to do the missions with, then I don't want to buy it.

So basically I'm simply asking: Do people still play through the missions in Eye of the North? Or would I be one of a few?

it's definitely worth it and haha you wont be the only person playing it. Most of the people are playing EotN these days.
Good storyline, more heroes, dungeons and most importantly Hall of Monuments.

"The Hall of Monuments is an explorable area in the Eye of the North expansion and will be incorporated in Guild Wars 2 to help tie the games together and reward dedicated Guild Wars players in Guild Wars 2."

EotN is more challenging than the other campaigns. It also gives access to more heroes and more skills.

I find it still quite busy there, you can generally pick up enough people to make a team for the dungeons.

If you want to make money or do any elite areas/ dungeons then you'll need the game.

Be aware though that depending on your location and time of play it may still be unlikely that you will get a full party to do a quest or mission.
The addition of heroes and the game (GW not EotN) being five years old means that most people don't need to group in towns, specially if they have joined a Guild/Alliance with a decent population.
Having said that it is probably the busiest campaign as it has the most post-Level 20 content so people tend to gravitate towards it. There is also several farming opportunities which draw the crowds to outposts.
If you're not American try the American district as they're generally more populated than anywhere else.

Yeah, its worth it without a doubt.

You may not get a full 8/8 team for primary missions, but you should find 4 or so other people no problem, also people tend to be more likely to help you out in EOTN as it is level 20-orientated, and as such is mostly better for loot.

Also if you want to farm, you will need it for the PvE only skills, they're key in most farming builds nowaday.
The elite content is fairly easy to find groups for, usually people looking for speed farms for the very expensive weapons only available in dungeons, such as Voltaic spears or Silverwing bows.

as was said as the last thing that came out, many people are playing eye more than factions, prophecies or nightfall...so you will have no problems finding others in most eye cities.

Just for the record.... there are no missions as such in GWEN.

Personally I have to say it's my least favorite addition to the GW series, but then again it doesn't count as a campaign.

EDIT: but you should still get it, I can't think of a reason not to

GW:EN provides the best PvE missions and dungeons in the game, IMO.
